Assembly Instructions
- Gently fold inward on all the score lines. Attach the vellum pieces to the inside of each side of the lantern.
- Assemble the lantern, first attaching the longer side of the lantern to the bottom tabs, then attaching the short side, gluing it to the bottom and side tabs.
- Open the lantern by folding all the top pieces outward, then put an LED tea light inside.
- Fold the two top pieces (the ones without holes) forward and down so they close off the lantern, then bring the two lantern hanger pieces together to meet in the middle so their holes are aligned.
- Run a ribbon or cord up through the first hole and down through the second hole of the hanger. Then string the rest of the lanterns you created onto the cord and hang it up. Thats it! To turn the LED light inside the lanterns off and on, there’s no need to remove the lanterns from the garland, just take down the garland and gently pull the lantern hanger pieces apart until you’re able to lift the other two top pieces open. Then remove the tea light and change its setting.
